Poem for the heart

Poem ā The Unraveling
I breathe into the chambers of my heart,
where shadows have been folded,
stitched into silence by time.
With each inhale, the threads loosen,
with each exhale, the knots release.
Grief softens into water,
anger thins into smoke,
fear dissolves into the air.
My body is a riverbed,
fascia unwinding like silk in the current,
making space for love to flow again.
Here, in this stillness,
I am held.
I am whole.
I let go.
